The beautiful Bodie pics are BACK!!! YAY!!! I love this episode because Bodie makes absolutely no attempt whatsoever to hide how important Doyle is to him. He even says as much to Cowley's face - and this is canon!!! I LOVE it!!!
I unashamedly straddle both gen and slash camps, as I'm sure you've spotted, and I love that moment (along with Bodie's - there's a better man over there - pop at Cowley when Doyle is left wounded in the thigh in a multi storey car park).
In both cases, the very fact it's Cowley he rears up against shows his depth of feeling :0)
i love how Bodie's temper seems to explode whenever it's Doyle in tight situations and the two scenes you mentioned show how much of him caring for doyle is on show .
Oh yes, that's a great line (and an adorable sentiment) from 'The Female Factor.'
In my equally unashamedly slash-OTP Pros!verse, I subscribe to the theory that Doyle gives his loyalty to ideals and Bodie gives his loyalty to individuals. Bodie is loyal to Doyle first and George Cowley second, and very unhappy whenever Cowley requires this order to be reversed.
I love this episode and this scene imparticularly for the same reasons . Not even Mr Cowley is stopping him from getting to his partner and if that means Bodie telling Mr Cowley to his face then so be it .

Now to the gorgeous face on my screen. There's something about the contrast of cold hard surfaces around him and those very human emotions that strikes me.
thankyou , yes i love this scene for that one simple reason , his determination to reach his partner and his demonstration of what Doyle means to him even if that means standing up to his boss at the end .

I also love the way Doyle can get a world of angst into the two syllables of Bodie's name.
However you view their relationship, the closeness has been fuelling fandom for nigh on half a century - and I say long may it continue!
