Date: 2016-07-03 02:52 pm (UTC)Lovely pic, from a favourite episode of mine... is that from the scene he's lurking outside the house the baddies are keeping a kidnapped Doyle?
Oh those lips... and the whole expression on his face... could look at it for hours... 😊

I unashamedly straddle both gen and slash camps, as I'm sure you've spotted, and I love that moment (along with Bodie's - there's a better man over there - pop at Cowley when Doyle is left wounded in the thigh in a multi storey car park).
In both cases, the very fact it's Cowley he rears up against shows his depth of feeling :0)

"those lips" ...yes i'm looking !!!!!

Hope you had a lovely hols :0)
As it happens, my drainpipe needs fixing, any chance the bloke in the green could pop round?

Date: 2016-07-03 03:34 pm (UTC)I love this episode and this scene imparticularly for the same reasons . Not even Mr Cowley is stopping him from getting to his partner and if that means Bodie telling Mr Cowley to his face then so be it .
Many thanks for stopping by to take a look .

I also love the way Doyle can get a world of angst into the two syllables of Bodie's name.
However you view their relationship, the closeness has been fuelling fandom for nigh on half a century - and I say long may it continue!

It's a deal!

Date: 2016-07-03 03:51 pm (UTC)In my equally unashamedly slash-OTP Pros!verse, I subscribe to the theory that Doyle gives his loyalty to ideals and Bodie gives his loyalty to individuals. Bodie is loyal to Doyle first and George Cowley second, and very unhappy whenever Cowley requires this order to be reversed.

Date: 2016-07-04 01:46 am (UTC)Now to the gorgeous face on my screen. There's something about the contrast of cold hard surfaces around him and those very human emotions that strikes me.
Thank you! :D
