At the moment i am watching pros in Dolby atmos sound. Dolby Atmos is the latest technology giving you unbelievable atmospheric sound ,which means you hear everything that much clearer, did you know (going back to byslantedlight) post, Bodie calls Doyle a stupid git in the episode 'servant of two masters" but do you know the scene and he doesn't say it in a nasty way, mostly saying what an idiotic thing to do.

I don't have a fancy sound system, but maybe that solves the question of what to do before bed tonight - I shall go and watch this ep again! *g*

The transcripts haven't picked up "git", they just have Bodie saying "You stupid..."

I shall be listening (and lip-reading!) carefully! *g*

The scene is indeed in the cellar where Doyle drops the chisel that he is using to open the grill when Mr Cowley slams the boot of the car.

Bodie " where's the chisel"
Doyle " i dropped it"
Bodie " you stupid git"

and then Bodie crosses his fingers in the hope of getting out of there.

I did indeed watch it last night, and even without a special sound system I could just hear him say "stupid git" as the whole line - though I did have to turn the sound up.

The other thing about that scene is that there's lots of whispered conversation between them as they're working on the window - you can hear a few words, but the others are pretty indistinct. There's one part where Bodie says "Sorry" to Doyle, and I remember a discussion about that somewhere (probably Safehouse). There's other whispered stuff that I couldn't quite make out, and I did wonder if it was scripted or if it was the two of them!

Yes i did a post a few months back about Bodie saying "sorry" to Doyle. I am glad that you got to hear it , i know the volume has to be raised somewhat but like you say, there does seem to be whispered conversations going on between the lads during that scene, i think it's between themselves (lives in hope)
