Interesting effect! I think I remember the scene actually has the shadows in blue light? Your interpretation is more serious and a bit threatening or ominous. I like it!
i never actually meant to make these images look as serious as they do but i must admit, i do love the play of light across their faces which very much appeals to me.

yes they are from the episode "servant of two masters". I really enjoy creating with light and shadow and the hardness sprung to mind while viewing the lads locked in the cellar.
thankyou so much. After watching the lads trapped in a cellar the darkness and the subtle hint of shadow play was something that i couldn't get out of my mind and i had to try to capture it in these images.
