time for an update

I don't usually write in my journal, it's kept mainly for posting images but i feel an update is over due. I am now in a more happier state of mind after having a slight wobble these past few weeks , life is looking brighter again though i must admit i don't branch out any further than my journal (best that i stay here i think) there have been recent visits to York and Liverpool. York was lovely and bustling and everything you could want from such an historic city (but don't mention the car parking prices ....phew)

I have been doing a rerun of all The Professionals episodes, trying to watch one a day and i'm about to start the final box set but took a day off today to watch the gorgeous Lewis working his magic in this instead.



and the countdown to the new football season is only three weeks away, so yeah, lots to look forward to and now i am away to carry on with my bidding on ebay.

yes i certainly am thankyou. I love to watch all the episodes again but the problem is that i am nearing the end, maybe i should go back and watch them all again *g*. Glad you like the image and thankyou for your comment.

Football! Even though it's a different game in Britain and the US, ours starts very soon too, and I am an addict!

yes i am thankyou, i don't know why i sometimes feel down about posting but i'm fine now and have quite a few Lewis goodies expected in the post.Yes there is nothing quite like watching a pros episode every day but the problem is i am nearing the end so perhaps i should start from the first box set and do it all over again.


Football is my must have, i live and breathe Liverpool Football Club and you sound fanatical about your sport too.

yes life is much brighter and thankyou for your comments which i always love to read, i know that you are away travelling quite a lot but when you do comment then that's great because i hope that you enjoy the images.

York was lovely and it has been a few years since i was last there. I walked down the street know as The Shambles and found myself in a christmas shop selling victorian christmas decorations, rather weird when the sun is shining.

The visit to York and Liverpool (though Liverpool is on my doorstep) was lovely. York is such an historic city with the tudor buildings so yes it was a beautiful day.

The new football season will soon be upon us and i can't wait.

So glad life is going better for you! And I'm excited for football season too, my adopted team Fullham is finally back up. I'm more excited for hockey season but that's not til October so we've got a ways to go yet. Which is fine by me, I love summer.

Thankyou, yes life is looking good especially my LJ life after a few dips and lows.oh yes Fulham will be playing Liverpool this season (I'm just wondering how you came to adopt Fulham as your team) and I'm glad that you have something to look forward to in your sport of Hockey.

I love hockey, it's my favourite sport, but the NHL is really bad about lockouts, we're the only sport that has ever lost an entire season to one. The last lockout was in 2012 and the season didn't start until January of 2013,it was supposed to start in October. So I needed something to watch and got in Premier League football. I picked Fulham because I didn't want to jump on a big team's bandwagon and I wanted a team in London. Then they promptly got themselves relegated but I picked them so I stuck with them and we're finally back up.

I did something similar with hockey, got into the sport about 25 years ago and the Ottawa Senators were an expansion team at the time so I adopted them even though I don't live anywhere near there. But I see them on the road and get up for home games every other year. Last year I finally got to a playoff game and that was amazing to be in the home arena. The place was rocking, and we won!

thankyou so much for the information and to finally see your team in the home areaa sounds wonderful. I have always supported Liverpool since i was 7 years old and my dad took me to Anfield to watch them and i have been hooked ever since. Anfield isn't that far away from me so we are very often visiting.
