ali15sonI have recently been reading an interview with Lewis taken as he prepares to bow out of his role as Bodie and the final episode of The Professionals was being filmed. I love to imagine what he says in this part of the interview and how they both felt on giving up the characters that we love so much.
SO, HOW DID HE FEEL ON THIS RATHER SAD OCCASION
"Numb, and a bit relieved to tell the truth. I've nothing against The Professionals but we've been doing nothing else for the past four years and it feels like five or more now.
Martin and i had a serious talk the other day - we don't often talk too seriously you know - and we realised we've shared a lot of laughs and had quite a few touching moments too. It may have been a difficult four years in many ways but that didn't have anything to do with my companions" (Lewis Collins)
