Hello Lewis

I have some discs which have just been transferred onto usb stick of back dated tv times magazines. They go back to 1972 and on until the 1990's. I have never actually gone through them all properly . Tonight i started to have a look and "hello" look who i saw advertised in one of them. There are more images of Lewis as i go through them. Thank goodness they are stored securely.

Very interesting to see the entry from the TV Times. Apparently the programme was shown on September 27th 1978. A long time ago!

Yes it was, i forgot to grab a photo of the front cover, i will have to go back and sort it. I also found a two page interview with Gemma Craven which includes a photo of herself and Lewis from "must wear tights". I am slowly going through each magazine, hopefully some more goodies may crop up.

I think because Pros holds up so well, you forget how long ago it originally aired.

It was a smash hit from the first ep - so no surprise really that Mr C was cast as a 'famous television star'.

There's a slightly different picture of the same scene in The Professionals magazine, vol. 2, no. 2, and a picture of him dressed as a pirate from 'Must Wear Tights' in The Professionals magazine, vol. 3, no.4.

I know the ones that you mean, the one where he is walking down the steps with the dancers behind him. I was flicking through the mags over the weekend . It's a lovely image of him and the pirate image (on page 4) is another lovely image .
