Please Vicar
Nov. 11th, 2024 02:06 pmAttending a service of rememberance this morning at our local cenotaph, i was greeted by the vicar handing out the service sheets. Stood at the side on the grass verge i suddenly saw her approaching. "OH MY GOODNESS i just love your jumper " she said . "Thankyou" to which she is pointing at Bodie and Doyle. "Which one is your favourite"
"Bodie, it always has been", "oh you can keep him" she said "oh my , give me Martin Shaw any day, what an actor" and after 10 minutes of drooling and lots of oh my's and as much as i would like to continue this conversation the service was about to start.

Date: 2024-11-15 06:41 pm (UTC)It seems it was a nice situation. It reminds me of a situation a few years ago when I walked the street wearing one of the karate t-shirts we got as a present when we did karate camp. I walked the street and a young man looked at me, opened his jacket and said "Oh, you too." We laughed because we only knew each other wearing a white karate gi. *g*
