I suffer from meniere's disease, meniere's disease is when the fluid inside the ear collects but in other people the fluid drains away but in my case the fluid remains causing an inbalance between the ear and the brain bringing on an attack of vertigo, vomiting and basically the whole body feels like you are walking side ways. When an attack happens, most of the time, from nowhere, the only thing you can do is lie down until the attack is over. This feeling can last, in my case, for atleast eight hours sometimes more. Imagine the world spinning for that length of time which is why i enjoy making my art work, it gives me something to distract from the menier's disease., and i made this yesterday when the world was constantly spinning.

Wow, this is so beautiful and an outstanding job, especially when done during a vertigo attack. I wish you all the best!

Aww thankyou so much. It's so much easier to concentrate on Lewis Collins rather than the spinning sensation. This took me hours to perfect which is the best distraction there could possibly be.

Thankyou for the "wow". I'm glad that you like it.

This is stunning. What a gorgeous man! I have an inner ear thing not nearly as bad as yours and there is nothing worse than vertigo! You did a great job while you were feeling this way. Thank you!

Lovely Bodie image.

You have my sympathy. I have severe vertigo caused by crystals in my left ear. When the attacks happen, it's nearly impossible to function. With all the medical research in the world, you'd think they'd come up with some kind of cure for such a debilitating condition.

Thankyou so much for liking this piece. I sympathise with you also because severe vertigo leaves (like you say) you being unable to function and the feeling that everything is spinning is simply horrible. Take care.

Thankyou for your comment.

So sorry to hear about your illness. Vertigo is a very nasty feeling and it is good to read that you found a way to distract yourself while it happens.

And what a nice result you created here. It really looks great and I love it. He is perfectly prepared for the coming cold weather. Thank you for sharing. :-)

Vertigo and the symptoms that surround it are simply horrible and an attack can last for hours, my artwork distracts me and gives me something else to focus on and that something is Lewis Collins.

Thankyou so much for liking this and he sure is ready for the cold weather *g*

The vertigo and the symptoms that go with it create a horrible feeling and leave you unable to function, my distraction is my artwork, i'm glad that you like my Bodie artwork, he is a worthwhile distraction even when i'm not having an attack but even more so when i am.

Thankyou for your comment, it's always appreciated.

Thankyou so much, unfortunately the symptoms can only be contolled by medication but it doesn't stop the attacks from happening and there is no cure. I am due to go for a follow up appointment with the consultant soon but in the meantime my artwork will still be my main distraction especially when it involves Lewis Collins.

Thankyou for your comment.

It really is, the only way to distract from the spinning sensation is to concentrate on something else and that something else happens to be Lewis Collins .

Thankyou for your comment.

Hello to you too, firstly i hope that you received your birthday greeting and secondly thankyou so much, my days are very much up and down at the moment or should i say round and round.

My artwork of Lewis serves as a distraction but i'm not complaining when it means focusing on this gorgeous man. Thankyou for liking and for your comment.
