Surprises that continue

After the capri was safely locked up again we were about to walk away when the sales rep said " i've got another surprise that i want to show you, i think you'll love this" so we followed him up a flight of steps to the main desk, he then leant over and pulled out two boxes. He said that i could take a look through both boxes, enjoy and photograph anything i wanted. I opened the first box belonging to the silver capri and i couldn't believe what i was seeing.



I was now holding all of the cars documents and included was also Bodie's original (the one he actually used in the show) ID badge, i can't believe i have got this in my hand.



There was also a magazine and the operating guide to the capri and the first document signed over to the first owners of the capri which was the production team of The Professionals.



What an absolute treat and then it was the turn of the second box belonging to the gold capri (whoever bought the cars also got these boxes to keep) and i will post about the second box tomorrow.

I know how lucky i am and this was a moment that i will always treasure. I was not expecting to see these documents and to be have the opportunity to hold Bodie's ID badge was really special.

I am amazed that the silver Capri has so many historical show documents still intact. What a treasure trove, especially Bodie's CI5 warrant card- oh my goodness!!

I couldn't believe what i was seeing, especially all of the documentation and then the added bonus of holding Bodie's ID badge.....it is a day that i will treasure because not only did i get to see these iconic cars but there was so much more to enjoy.
