People say that you can post whatever you like in your own journal, well these are my thoughts recently so it's better that they stay here on my journal. Why do i feel that i am drifting away from the Pros community, probably because i am drifting away from the Pros community. I feel like my journal is my little island and i'm waving to you from off shore. Well here i am waving to you again, i just can't seem to motivate myself into doing anything other than staying where i feel safe and out of reach.




Maybe at some point that may change but for now there is me, the lads and my safe guard which is my journal.

But you *are* the Pros community! Live journal is an important part of fandom and that's what you use your journal for. I'm not sure who or where this community is which you feel you're drifing away from - does it exist any more, if it ever did?

And those pictures are good, particularly the one of Doyle looking up so sweetly!

I mean the community other than my journal ,like the safe house or box of tricks etc... I never really post at these places.

Well these sites don't seem to have much traffic anyway. I saw you posting at The Safehouse recently but then I think you took your post down. You do post at Archive of our Own and tumblr so I think you post more than most people.

Well my journal is my safe haven and that is my point yes I did post at the safe house but then I didn't feel comfortable so I took it down yes I do post at Tumblr at ao3 sometimes.i can't explain it , anyway I'm here waving at you from my journal.

For me you are a part of the Pros community either if you post only in your journal or in any of the others. Look at me, I don't post so much wonderful images like you do and if you feel uncomfortable about The Safehouse or any other journal it is okay.

I'm always happy to see your images and I'm happy when you like what I did. I think everyone should do what she likes and where she feels safe.

You should do whatever it is that makes you happy. Fandom should be exactly that "happy" place--in whatever way it works best for you. For some, that means lots of engagement in lots of different places, for others it means writing stories for themselves that they never share. Both are valid, of course. So, yes, your journal is for you, your lads--and a few friends who deeply appreciate visiting that place with you! I'm going through some busy, rough times at work just now, so having a fly-by moment to gaze upon the lads is making me very happy, and keeping me going, to be honest. Thank you!

You do a lot for the Pros community and I appreciate it. Do what makes you happy, that's my motto. Fandom should be your happy place. When it's not, well, you have to do what's best for you.

thankyou, i love to look at your images, this is just a feeling of mine at the moment. I used to love seeing the lads on other sites but i tend to stay where it i feel safe and at the moment that is my journal, that is why i feel i am drifting away from these other places of the pros community.

well at the moment my happy place is here on my journal. I used to love discussing the lads on such sites as The Safehouse but now i wouldn't dream of getting involved and that is where my feeling of drifting away is coming from.I'm glad the sight of the lads gave you a boost and i hope that your busy schedule relents soon.

Thankyou and i am happy even if i don't sound it at the moment, it's just a feeling that i have, i used to love visiting different sites, discussing the lads and being involved in the pros community, now i only feel safe when i'm here on my journal and that is why i feel like i'm drifting at the moment. I wouldn't dream of getting involved in any of the challenges nor would i get involved in any discussions, so yeah i would say i am definitely drifting away at this present time.

At the moment i am only comfortable with posting on my journal. I used to love being involved in all the projects and discussions but now i wouldn't dream of getting involved in such things and this is why i feel i am drifting away.

i am happy here on my journal it's the one place that i feel most comfortable. i used to love having a discussion on the lads at the safehouse etc but at the moment i feel liie i am gradually drifting away and can no longer motivate myself to be involved and that feeling has been with me for some time now.

The fan on my computer keeps whirring away, I suspect it's on its last legs. According to the manual, this may be due to overwork - it suggests I look for anything that may have caused overheating.

Hmmm...Now just what have I been looking at lately, which might have caused that...?

I am sorry to hear about your computer problems and i hope that everything resolves itself for you.

I just feel like my journal is my island at the moment and can't seem to motivate myself into posting elsewhere. My safety net is my journal and that gives me a feeling of drifting away from the community.

i'm afraid that the feeling of drifting is still with me and the urge to join in with anything has for the moment come to a stand still. My journal is still my comfort spot and i can't see that changing any time soon.
