I had to recently trim down my friends list because it seems people aren't interested in just Lewis images or they are too busy doing other things.

Please don't assume that if people don't comment it's because they're not interested. There are loads of reasons why they might not: they could be leading very busy lives, can't be bothered(!), leave it to other people to make the effort (which happens a lot at the Newsletter), shyness, or are unable to think of things to say, particularly if someone posts a lot. Most people never comment at my Visions posts, but sometimes in a different context or at at a different journal someone might say something like 'oh I like your Visions posts' and you feel like saying, 'great, but please, could you let me know at my journal just once in a while as I *need* to know in order to carry on doing it?'. And I rarely post, so it's not much to ask if certain people on my f'list could do that. But as I say, if you post every day it might take busy people time to think of different comments.

I always enjoy reading your comments, thankyou.

sorry , yes i do have an account on tumblr and pinterest but my main posting site is my journal here.

I know that me being on here every day does get boring but this was a challenge that i set myself to see if i could post a pic of Lewis every day and i guess some people drift off to other things but i like being in contact with the people on my friends list and that wasn't happening which is obviously up to the individual.

It's *never* boring seeing your images every day but maybe people find it challenging to comment every day? There's a big difference and I think it's people not commenting which upsets you? A lot of people are semi-detached when it comes to fandom... if you look at the membership of The Safehouse and T & SRoll there are hundreds of people there but only a handful of people take the time (or have the time) to comment.

I think you should carry on posting as much as you want if *you* get something from it. Amen.

Thankyou, yes the original image is a beautiful one and i love how Lewis looks in it so i thought i would add it to my Lewis challenge of posting a pic a day of him.

I'm sorry but that is my general take on having friends on my list, i like to be in contact with them and i know it's not possible to comment on every picture but i have people who friend me and then i never hear from them again so i then wonder why they would friend me in the first place.

No need to apologise! Everyone has different reasons, availability, and demands on their time, and you can't be expected to friend back, or open yourself to everyone who just wants to see you post lovely pictures.

I was just thinking that there were more general points to think about about what people in Pros fandom are doing now, and why - different platforms, less in-person meetage (in my experience), less community, more individual, and so on. And I'm not immune as I'm sure you know.

Wow. So much to admire in this image. I particularly love the colours standing out, the shadows on his uniform, and those lips!... :)
