I'm having a "strike back" (first series) tv fest.... i mean a Richard Armitage tv fest mmmm lovely .

No idea what "strike back" is, but happy you're having a lovely weekend.

I'm not getting as much done as I'd hoped, because I'm not good with heat - so can't concentrate - but I am enjoying my weekend too :0)

Strike back is a sas , military, rescue all action tv series . Richard Armitage plays a soldier called John Porter in the first series which I happen to like the best it's mostly set in places like Africa or in the desert .

The heat is very humid which isn't pleasant but glad you are having a good weekend too.

I'm not a great fan of those sorts of shows, probably why I haven't seen it.

I've been in the desert (Sahara, on holiday), it was boiling but (presumably due to the lack of water) didn't have the humidity. Also, because the buildings were built for heat, they're all tiled and cool - like living in a bathroom - so I could sleep at night.

I think it's the not sleeping which really does the damage. Nice pic though :0)

i can honestly say i would never last anywhere that is so hot but lucky you to have visited the sahara .

I must admit i do like a bit of Richard Armitage , i enjoyed him when he played Guy of Gisburn in Robin Hood but he's so good in this .

Yeah, I like Guy of Gisborne - and The Hobbit - and I have the DVD of North and South (I'd like to read the novel, which is apparently different to the mini-series) - but, although I like a classic war film, I often get switched off by military stuff.
